Hello! I know it's been a really really long time since I've posted...BUT I'm back :) I'll be turning this section of my site into bite sized image based snippets of new paintings I'm working on, the art journey, and things that are bouncing around in my head that inspire a lot of my work. Here is a new series I've been working on that is launching in a few weeks...it is inspired by light and color while constantly balancing different amounts of white space throughout.
A few months back, I was asked to do some paintings for an eclectic wedding shoot that was inspired by the hidden urban beauty of Atlanta, GA. Building off the concept of vivid patterns in cheery hues, the designer, Juli Vaughn, had a modern and artsy vision that was translated beautifully and captured through the ever fabulous photographs of Vue Photography. The shoot took place at the Westside Cultural Arts Center...the perfect backdrop for an art gallery inspired theme. ...
I just love when two creative people can share their passion...and then have it come full circle. I absolutely LOVE doing commissions and working with clients to create the perfect painting to compliment their home, office or whatever space they are wanting to pump some life into.
