A few months back, I was asked to do some paintings for an eclectic wedding shoot that was inspired by the hidden urban beauty of Atlanta, GA. Building off the concept of vivid patterns in cheery hues, the designer, Juli Vaughn, had a modern and artsy vision that was translated beautifully and captured through the ever fabulous photographs of Vue Photography. The shoot took place at the Westside Cultural Arts Center...the perfect backdrop for an art gallery inspired theme.
My colorful little 12"x12" paintings were used as placemats underneath a gorgeous place setting that provided the perfect punch of color needed to tie everything together. It was so inspiring to be part of such a talented group of designers while watching everything come together.
The hard work certainly paid off when we found out our shoot was featured on a variety of blogs, with the main one being POTTERY BARN...ENJOY! Check it out here!
